Martini SuperLube is a polar type that wants to adhere to the surfaces under the action of heat and load due to molecular attraction of the molecules to the surfaces. It is a bit like microscopic magnets adhering tenaciously to the working surfaces. In physics, materials are composed of molecules which have electrons (negatively charged) revolving around a nucleus of protons (positively charged). The negative and positive are attracted to one another and everything is in balance. Add heat and pressure and the electrons want to go faster and the magnetic balance is altered. The friction modifier becomes more negative in magnetic terms and looks for positively charged surfaces like two magnets attracting one another.
